Tanner is a native of Iuka and Tishomingo County. He attended Northeast Mississippi Community College before transferring to the University of Mississippi, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology in 2018. He went on to graduate from the University of Mississippi School of Law with his Juris Doctor in 2024.
Upon becoming a member of the Mississippi Bar in 2024, Tanner began his career with Cobb and Associates in Iuka, his hometown, before joining Bain Bowen, PLLC in Corinth. He maintains a general chancery and circuit court practice, with particular focus on domestic relations, custody, guardianship and conservatorship, probate, criminal defense, and civil litigation.
As a young attorney, Tanner brings energy, fresh perspective, and a relentless work ethic to every case. But being young doesn't mean being unprepared — it means being hungry, thorough, and willing to go the extra mile when it matters most.
Rooted in Northeast Mississippi
Tanner grew up in Iuka and began his career there. Joining a Corinth firm didn't change who he serves: he believes people in small towns deserve the same caliber of legal representation available anywhere else, and he continues to represent clients from Tishomingo County and across the region. He understands the values, the culture, and the people of Northeast Mississippi — and he's proud to be part of the fabric of the community.
